The Nansen Neuroscience Lecture 2021 will be given at the Norwegian Academy of Science and Letters on Monday 11 Oct noon by
Stefan Offermanns:
“Current advances in G-protein coupled receptors – novel ligands and functions in body and brain disease”
G-protein mediated signalling and G-protein-coupled receptors are central in the regulation of the function of all cells.
They are major drug targets for fighting diseases.
The lecture will give an overview and present the latest advances in the field.

The Nansen Neuroscience Lectures (NNLs) are organized in conjunction with Fridtjof Nansen’s birthday to honour his fundamental contribution to neuroscience, and since 10.10.2010 they are part of the Academy’s Nansen-celebration.
The NNLs are given by speakers selected from the top tier of science research.
